hi! guys
anyone knows of an unofficial guide to 777. like a lot of people have made their own website for 737. might have an upgrade lined up for 777. any help will be appreciated. thanks
hey! avbug
your replies are always very informative and to the point but i think you don't like this subject at all. i know no one will sacrifice on safety trying to save company some bucks but i just wanted to know what all things a company would tell you to do for saving fuel. like i heard...
hi! guys
just wanna know whats the fuel saving policy with your airline or company? as for my company they are very hot on extra fuel to be carried specially on long trips and use of APU on ground. any info will be helpful. thanks in advance.
keep flying!!
As far as i know. If ur withing 30 deg of the inbound course going direct to the station and ur cleared for the approach you don't have to do the hold. Otherwise you'll have to enter the hold and once ur established on the inbound course for the approach you can do the approach.
I hope this...
This Joeyjet site is cool.... The one chick I remember was at MCO Air BP. Naples Air Center has some nice ones too. I guess next time I need to carry a camera around.. :D
There is nothing to be suspecious about Ari Ben. Although there has been a lot written about them on this forum. I still think they have the cheap and best deal. if you are looking to do the training in FL then you should atleast go there and check it out yourself. Don't take anybody's word for...
stay away from pan am unless you've too much money to waste.
lot of good schools out there who will give you better training in less money and getting hired as an instructor will be much easy with them.
have you looked at ATP in Stuart, FL and Ari Ben in Fort Pierce, FL...
Has anyone of you guys actually flown a PAR approach? If yes, then where in the united states and how was it? Thanks.....

Any instance where you guys (First officer) have taken control from the captain???
don't have to name the airline, just the situation will be enough....
:p ;) :D
Its a bit complicated but a really good deal. The 100 hr programme works on safety pilot regulations so both pilots log PIC for the flight time and they both pay 56 $/hr so it works out for both you and the school. You can't take the airplane too far out of florida as the same planes are used...
hey! trap,
thanks for the reply. the equipment i've is an old one so it doesn't take the lats and longs. i looked at the TEB rnav approach and if i can get data like that i can do it otherwise not.
so i guess mostly its of no use now in the times of GPS approaches. funny thing is that they...
Hey! guys,
recently my company bought an airplne which has an RNAV installed in it. I was trying to figure it out as I've never flown one before. I've managed to put way points in it and fly towards them. it works really accurate.
The question is how to put way points for the approaches? It has...
Is larry working with the local FSDO over there? If yes, then how can he let an unairworthy airplane fly infront of him.
Here in FL the school I went to had too many problems with getting the airplane o.k to fly with the FAA initial CFI checkrdies. So many times they had to fix a problem in...
the best way to simulate engine faliure on ground is to use brakes. the student won't even see you moving for the controls and you can catch him off gaurd.
in the pattern i like to simulate engine faliure with throttles as its safe. you don't want to end with student feathering the wrong engine...
