Mach 80 is my hero. I love hearing dictations like this. I can only imagine the consequences of his other crewmember saying "in sight". He must be such an inspiration to all he flies with to correct such unprofessional radio technique. RELAX A LOT!!!! Mach 80.....have you seen how many...
I did my 75/76 training in Seattle and sat in the 787 sim while on a break. I can vouch for everything that PFTEXPJET said. Looks nothing like a 777. However neither does a 75/76 and a 767-400 and CAL somehow got us to be qualified on both of those together.
not that i am exactly positive if this said person is a scab or not, but the bottom line for myself is......I WILL NEVER TRUST A SCAB,..ONCE A SCAB, ALWAYS A SCAB.
This is the portion that was written on our flight ops bulletin board...
We have seen quite a bit of interest in the ERW, COLA and Long term VRF. It is my hope that we get enough participation to mitigate, if not eliminate, the need to furlough. If you are “on the fence” and have any questions...
As with any airline, any bid is only as good as your seniority will allow. Assuming your seniority will allow everything, then yes.....you can always bid UP (737 to 756 to 777, or any type of UP combination) with no delay. However to bid DOWN (777 to 756 to 737, or any type of DOWN...
Just some input about 737 reserve. EWR 737 may be only a month or two, but to hold a line in IAH on the 737 is a CURRENT 9 month minimum and counting. People in my class on the 756 should be getting lines in EWR after 9 months up there. 756 IAH I believe is about 2 years or so for a line...
I'm trying to figure out how you planned that new hires will get IAH 756. According to the flight ops chart it looks like the line hits the 100% mark with current pilots. Can anyone shed some light?
I'm in class now at CAL and all the charts and instructors have showed us that the next 3 years are going to be the biggest movement. 25% of the active captains now on property leave within the next 3 years. All assuming they are leaving at age 60.
Hello all! I was just curious from the CAL guys how trips are bid with the PBS system. Basically, do you get any type of "skeleton" type month trip examples to base your selections by, or is it all up in the air based on what you input into the computer. IE., can you say all I want is any...
