Make sure you guys are comparing apples to apples.... the 6K sounds like a single recurrent... the 15K sounds like a full service contract. Also, talk to an actual marketing person - not whoever answers the phone - they're in a dealing mood these days
PS - have you searched yourself on the FAA website to see if the FAA actually has the limitation on the license still?? Is it possible that you just didn't get the new license in the mail?? The FAA uses an outside contractor in Oke City to actually print the license and mail it.... they (the...
Correct, FSI can't just remove an SOE limitation. We can remove an "SIC required" limitation for single pilot airplanes (Like the BE300/SIC required) by completing another certification checkride with the pilot acting as a single pilot but the FAA needs to remove the SOE.
When I had the SOE...
The incentive program CAN add alot to your take home - it just depends on alot of factors which the instructor generally has very little control over. It's not a situation where you can choose to "go out and bust your butt". You may be able to pick up a couple of extra days but generally...
Very close.... FSI CMH will get the sim around that time frame with training to begin in August. The XLS+ sim in ICT is already operating and expect a second sim in ICT early next year.

PS - NJA deliveries have slipped since the original 1Q09 time frame - look for them end of 2Q09 or...
And someone with a deep understanding of the tax implications and financial and legal liabilities of shared ownership -- one could easily end up screwing their 'clients' if they don't have a handle on these issues.
Actually I don't know.... I thought it did go thru but then it was challenged in court - not sure what the status is of it today. There was an activist group fighting against it called the "Dancers for Democracy" - I thought that was kind of humorous as they called themselves "The Double D's" :D
Are you referring to the 87 counties that voted in the smoking ban???? They have taken away strippers and smoking and are working on the pay day lenders -- I am a huge supporter of the casino but what has happened in Ohio in the past few years that gives you any idication that there will be a...
http://www.aopa.org/asf/publications/sa03.pdf This document is from AOPA.
http://www.faa.gov/pilots/training/media/flight_review.pdf This document is produced by the FAA and is actually pretty decent. Read thru them and you'll find what you're looking for.
As far as what to charge, I...
Shoot me a PM and I'll send my contact information and I'll verify it however you'd like. I have the exact dates and slots they cancelled on my desk at work. Like I said, this was for the XL/S program in CMH only - I have no idea what is happening with the other fleets. It is entirely possible...
You guys are working for the wrong company - I'm a program manager at FSI and my sim is booked literally 20/7 in August - not 1 minute of free time and none of my guys are scheduled more than 14 days and no one is working a double - as a matter of fact, the longest duty day in August is 9 hours...
What I said is correct - I don't have the exact wording of the regulation in front of me but I'll look it up when I have time. It's not a FSI standard - it's an FAR. A turboprop type rating does NOT count to get an unrestricted type - the regulation states that it must be a turboJET type rating...
You would be amazed at how many guys will show up to a recurrent checkride and barely be able to stumble thru the memory items. I mean come on, even if you don't look at them for 6 months, you have 5 days once you start to memorize them again.
