I remember paying around $5K, give or take, 6 years ago at Simuflite. Granted, we were a big customer - 70 events per year - but I know plenty of people who have gone through the course for similar $$$.
Paying full price for sim training is similar to paying MSRP for a car. All the major...
I saw the Govna get on a NJ F2000 once at ONT. Line guys said that this is his standard mode of transportation and I read somewhere that he pays his own travel costs out of pocket since he's rich and California is broke. I believe he's been a NJ customer for quite a while.
Not inside intel...
That's the one. Position is based in Seoul and requires relocation at SK's expense. I'm told by a guy in the ex-pat world that it's a very good position if the reloc. isn't a problem.
Do the instructors at Simuflite and FSI fall into our profession? Probably, but talk about two places that could use a breath of uniform fresh air.
I watched Apollo 13 last night for the 50th time and actually thought of this thread. The NASA controllers, circa 1970, all wore a short sleeve...
I call major Horse S&%t on $150K to start in the X. Even as a street captain, which I doubt is the case, I can't imagine $150K in the door on a X. On a G550 maybe, but not on a X.
Sadly true........
I have flown plenty of congressmen/women, as well as cabinet members, on numerous charter aircraft, none of which had any type of encrypted communication's devices. Heck, we didn't even have a flight phone or DVD player on the King Airs.
There are 22 G550's advertised on controller.com. None of these, available at a significant discount versus placing a new order, will do????????:uzi:
I'm glad that G & SAV picked up some business, however the timing is horrible. I also read that NOT replacing Marine One is going to cost over...
Are they hiring??? Does anyone know the CP? :pimp:
Closer inspection tells me this is a GV, 550, or 450. Will Savannah or Long Beach paint this type of art or is it aftermarket???
Have you seen JN's picture on a billboard lately? Have you seen JN in prime time commercials lately? Have you seen a major clothing line with JN's initial's /tail number on them? Have you seen pictures of JN's wife and small children lately?
A comparatively small demographic would...
Where is the a/c going to be based? Somewhere in SoFla I assume? I heard a rumor of EJM adding a G in SoFla a few months back, wonder if this is it? With the G market in the tank he probably got a deal!!!!!!!!!
I don't blame him for wanting his life kept out of the spotlight. He's as famous...
An appropriately staffed brass pole. You'd corner the market in one week.:pimp:
A closed circuit television that allows the us to see the front door as well as the ramp.
Lighting that allows for reading but doesn't keep everyone else awake.
A few desks with room to spread out.
The aviation aspect can throw a wrinkle into the approval process but you can successfully navigate through it if you are prepared. I bought a 20 yr $1million+ policy last year through a local broker. When the pilot issue came up we spent the next two weeks working with various underwriters to...
They had four G's lined up wingtip to wingtip at IAD a few weeks ago and I was pondering what a great job that must be, even if it's in Houston. ;)
I was laid off from my G job Monday AM and was hoping that I was on the tail end of the madness. If CP has to downsize nobody is safe.
Misery...
