Looking to travel Charlotte to Rio on USAir next week.
-Better to list both ways in CLT?
-How about taxes, can they be paid round trip or is it better to pay the return taxes in Rio?
-Is USAir good about putting JS'ers in Envoy Class?
Never done the Int'l Jumpseat thing and can use all...
I heard a Delta guy telling a controller that it was bad judgment to send their flight through a particularly bumpy, icy area. Then he kept asking for a phone number to call a supervisor and complain. When did it become a controllers responsibility for weather avoidance?
Actually, AirTran took on Allegiant by going into the secondary markets already served by AAY. Even emulated the same low frequency/twice a week type service that AAY does. AirTran's difference was going right into MCO.
Allegiant is simply defending their turf.
I noticed the change, too. Four months ago I got through before it even completed a full ring.

Heard AA149 this morning asking for a divert to ORD for a toilet that was in a continuous "flush mode". Asked to hold to burn off gas, declared an emergency and still said they would land 20,000 pounds over weight...
Not to burst your bubble, but I think that email message was sent out in error. Several current Allegiant pilots got that message the other day in their COMPANY email box. Probably a technical error.
Either way, keep your stuff updated and good luck!
I'm pretty sure you can pay a monthly fee for parking. My company paid for mine, but the paperwork had an option for those who wanted to pay it themselves.
Nothin' much man! Give me a call anytime. Just holding down the couch and keeping my Play Station skills sharp!
Yeah, I saw a Metro in Memphis the other day and saw some Skywest Brasilias in SLC about a month ago. The thought did cross my mind about how fun it would be to sling myself...
