eagle is one of the major airlines. a major airlines is based on 1 billion dollars in revenue expense, not the type of aircraft. so yes american eagle is considered a major air carrier without ties to american airlines. no other regional carrier is a major besides american eagle.

yes they rae hiring, one of my friends i work with just got hired, and he had low time, nothing fancy, no turbine and not 100 hours of multi. from what i hear there getting resumes like crazy. best bet is if you know someone within the company have them walk it in, if not then good luck.
