Correct me if I'm wrong, the problem with Aspen is the speed, not a single engine issue. A 146 final/maneuvering speed is much lower than the CR7, and can make the circle requirements. That being said, the CR7 with the 900 engines on it performs absolutely no different; just lower mx costs...
I just got my 850's while I was at Oshkosh. I met a SWA captain who was selling them for $395. I used to wear the 750 in the CRJ, and was exausted after a 5 or 6 leg day. The difference from the 750 to the 850 is amazing. They work excellent in the CRJ. It is very nice not having a battery...
I believe that Mesa is going to have dedicated gates in ORD.. That way, when their piece of sheit airplanes brake down at the gate, the rest of us don't have to suffer and wait for them to find a place to attach the yellow sticker.
Jepp considers mountainous terrain as terrain that rises X amount of feet above the airport reference point (ARP) within Y miles. This is different from the AIM. Unfortunately I forgot what X and Y were. Sorry.
I love my polarized sunglasses in the CRJ. No problem what so ever, except for the ISI. On all the old a/c with the old standby instrumentation, no prob, but with the ISI, you lose sight of it when you turn your head 90 degrees.

probably won't find an ATC-180 anywhere in the country.
Try searching for an ATC-810. Previous threads have tons of info on the sim as well as the tests.
