    Scope Clauses YES!

OK I might be a little new to scope clauses and all, but I am not ignorant to see how it might hurt us. I was being optimistic about the $30,000, yes about $18,000 is right. I understand you want to be paid. My argument is that I don't want a clause that limits growth in the regionals, but...

    Eagle Furloughs

Mistake I was in the 7/23 at AE. You?

    Scope Clauses YES!

I have an opinion that I would like to see how you all feel about. I am furloughed from AE, and I think that the scope clause about how many regional jets above 50 seats we can operate is great. This is why. If we as the regionals are allowed to have larger airplanes and start growing...

    Recalls?

I agree I agree that the flying done by american connection is preventing recalls. I hope this is dealt with soon.

    Support your local Airport

Oh yeah Not a lot of people get their ratings at a local FBO especially the CFI, so getting your CFI at a small airport will increase your chances of landing a job locally. I have seen it happen numerous times.

    Support your local Airport

Thanks Thanks for the support of the small guys. We gotta try to keep GA alive right now. Stay strong and support your local airport.

    Pan Am Flight Academy CFIing

This about this. You can use that $7,000 and get a B737 type-rating, and that might actually get you the job one day! Also aviation colleges offer internships that will give you sim and groundschool training with major airlines. I don't think that 7 hours or whatever it is will make you...

    Support your local Airport

Na The oppurtunites are great at the small airports. I don't think you need to ever compare walmart to these "pilot factories". Only if they offered great stuff at low low low prices. Na these are more like mmmm, going to Walmart with Macy's prices. I am not trying to put the others out...

Jealous You are making me jealous. I was a new hire last summer into the Jet, and now I just have to hear about it, oh well.

    Support your local Airport

I just want to tell everyone out there whos going to a "Pilot Factory" that they are bogus. I am talking about the Pan Am's and such. They are a rip-off and no fun. Please do not mistake these for the 4 years Aeronautical colleges. If you are not going to Aviation college then, support your...

    Pan Am Flight Academy CFIing

No Way No, do not go to Pan AM. Its not worth the cost or the heat. $7,000 for what? I think its a corporate rip off. There will be no hiring of any regional pilots in the near future with the "ACE" program. Learn to fly for real with real people. Everyone should find a small part 61...

    eagle flyers

Hey now I am furloughed from Eagle, and with the time I had at hiring I couldn't get anything but flight instructing afterwards. As for other posts, if all you guys senior to me want to leave please do. AMR is a strong hold company, and with 5 years of recall rights unless I am flying a GV or...

    Wages for flying skydivers

I was curious if anyone out there had recent input on how much a skydiver pilot gets paid. Is it per load, per day, per person and how much. I have a job offer that gives $6 a load is this realistic or not. Thanks for your input.

    What about not flying?

This is not yuppie logic. This is a different view of how to live. What I am saying is that it is good to have a something else to fall on. I never said stop flying. Even if I got my job back with the commuters, I will fly because I love it, and at $18,000 a year it might be nice to have...

    What about not flying?

It seems everyone who is out there, and out of a job is looking inside the box, about the whole situation. True if you are a pilot you want to fly as much as you can and have a good life doing it. Think about more schooling or college to begin with. It is always good to have a back-up. If...
