The type of software that ASA uses is the CLOSEST thing to line bidding out there is the PBS world. NavTech comes in a close second. What is being seen as the problem here is your line divisor. With it, the senior guys get their 75 hour line and everybody gets jammed. To keep this idea alive...
Doesn't matter in this case. You guys could have bullet proof language and Jerry would still hold the cards. You guys make your own decisions. Call your reps and tell them what you believe. We will support you guys which ever way you choose.
Hypocrite. Your entire post was us vs them. Don't start saying garbage like this. In all likelihood, XJT would enter bankruptcy (if your current management stays put) and then your contract gets gutted. Stability is one asset you can neither negotiate for or demand. By your very post, SkyWest...
We may be stuck in the tool shed but hell there is some nice sh*t out here. Plus the AC works well and the bed ain't too bad to sleep in. Nice about the tool shed is we have dirty magazines first off all. Next, we can build some cool stuff. Can we make stuff better? Hell yes! That is one of the...
Jerry has already made the point that they will walk away if XJT decides to fight on this issue. I've read the letter a couple of times and I don't believe you guys have anything there. The intent of that letter was to make XJT Holdings execute a merger. A couple of extra words would have...
News Flash!!!!!! None of get what we believe we should! They won't have to work very hard to blow it up either. I suspect Jerry will pull the plug if XJT guys ask for something he isn't willing to do like merge all three companies. Chest thumping with Inc in this situation benefits no one! Merge...
Good thing is, we at least have a grievance process that is legally binding. :)
BH was the DO. DO's are always hated. Our VP or Flt Ops was the DO at Delta and was reviled intensely there. Ever since the "La Liar" was sent home for more family time, he has been rather amiable. He's goofed a...
You know as well as I, that people generally fear the unknown. PBS thus far for your group and ours is an unknown. People run from stuff such as this. You also know, you can only get as much as the company is willing to offer. Thus you look for trade offs. As mentioned before, why hold an entire...
It will be up to you guys to force the issue. Lets see if the SAPA guys really have the nads to run with this one. Otherwise, XJT will either capitulate or the Jerry pulls the plug.
Huh? I saying the guy would have a case against the company. Just like Papa Georgio screwed up and put out that communication that all trips were premium pay. Then they pull it real quick. Those guys still get paid. Or does the MEC have to waive the rules for a pilot to get 200%?
So, watcha...
Yes. No. What I care about is not having a bunch of squabbling that causes any extra drama on the flight deck. There will be ticked off people, I'd just rather see as few as possible.
No, it is not the ONLY FAIR way to do this. You can holler all you like and it won't change anything. Ultimately, both groups must accept what is worked out after the JCBA is done. If not, it ends up in an arbiter's hands. I don't think any of us want that.
