    ASA/Non Dependent Children Passes

Well, it looks like they deleted all of our Non Dependent Children and they now have to use a "Friends and Familly" pass. This is just getting better every day! Does anyone know if the child is travelling with you, do they get the same priority code as you?? Why didn't they give us unlimited...

Blackwater aviation.....why not use military pilots

Not to mention that those pilots were ex Mil guy. But the guy is right, I have never seen a Mil guy make a mistake:erm: Several friends of mine are there flying in Asskrakastan and the only accident that that has occurred that one of them was involved in was when he was being transported by...

CRJ Series Icing Concerns and Studys

Tat I was under the impression that the higher airspeeds caused the surface friction to maintain a temp greater that what is required for ice accumulation to occur. I have forgotten the speed (235 or?) but I alwaysed checked the TAT and it was well above 5 degrees C. Maybe it is simple as that?

    Military Leave and signing bonus?

I have been gone for a couple years as well. A Union Rep called me and told me that the MLOA guys would be included:beer: . Additionally he told me that the checks would be sent to the last direct deposit account the Company had. He also stated that if the check did not go into direct deposite...

    ASA Signing Bonus...Dec 12

Well, I am on MLOA and I got a call from an ALPA rep who told me what I was to get. A couple days later, I got an email from an ALPA rep that told me the payment would be on the 12th instead of the 15th. He also volunteered to Fed Ex a check if I no longer had Direct Deposit as anyone without...

    CNN newsflash...

I doubt it! This mix is not right. What about the NWA merger talks the General keeps talking about??? It is more likely a rumor that got way out of control and the media just reports what ever comes accross the wires.

We all want age 60 changed?

Gen, I get pissed every time I see someone throw in police, ATC, Federal, fire, etc with 55 as the criteria. These guys are different. They have a separate pension system (no SSAN taxes) and 55 was set due to physical (not mental) abilities for police, FBI, etc. All of these individuals have the...

    SkyWest ordered to rehire pilot

Pulver said Douglas is entitled to back pay and attorney fees. I think that this is the most important part! Lets hope he gets it, all of it! :) The arthritis part is a little weak though.

    ASA TA vote NO?

79% is correct! It is called "Blinders" They cant see the forest past the tree nor do they want to get the info before they open their mouth and insert their proverbial foot.

Mesa's Murnane hires criminal defense lawyer

Im just curious as to how they are even going to prove that any information was even on the computers. Anyone know how the China Ops are going?? Only a matter of time before that adventure has issues.

ASA was better at Havco in July!!!

Havent seen it! In the last several weeks I have been flying almost every flight has been on time. Even when a crew had to be brought in to complete a PFN flight and arrived 20 mins prior to departure, we still arrived 6 mins early. What I have seen is full aircraft, everywhere! Things are...

    Private plane and TDY

I routinely fly on short notice with ticket prices around 12-1400 round trip. I can fly there for a third of the cost round trip. I have no problem getting funds as long as the JTR authorizes the mode of travel. In this case it does. I was just wondering what the reimbursement was. I suspect...

Delta's new leisure travel w/ Skywest WTF!!

No, Skypest pays the exact same thing we do. The only real good part is we still get 6 international (taxes only) and we bump mainline on our own aircraft. That will help as I am a VPS guy and we have a lot of mainline guys down here.

ASA flights benefits about to change!

OK, lets come to a conclusion here. Delta; I pay the $5 plus 1 cents a mile, got it! ASA, what do we pay?? I think we pay nothing on our own aircraft and get to bump senior Delta employees to boot. As I see it, this really does not change things a whole bunch. 99% of the Delta employees are...
