Mistakes because of Fuel Savings?
I used to see SWA land 35 in PHL quite often, less now after their latest overrun accident but I see it every now and then. 5,400 runway, B737...? I've never 'flown' a 737 so I have no idea what you can do safely but in the CR200 it's doable but can get a bit sketchy if you don't pound it in... -

I'm not sure about that. I believe it was stated they had something like 3 months to decide, and that put the decision sometime around september/octoberish. Check out the posts on the air willy forum regarding the updates for specifics. -

avoid airline career
you're making $128,000/yr flying a TP??? really?.... He's made 24k so far this year, which equals out to 32k/yr reserve 4 x 32k = $128,000 As you said, you've got several types and 7000 hours. To compare your job with a second year FO is like comparing the pay of a master chef with a subway... -

the sim was twitchy but not impossible. you need more patience if you think that thing was twitchy. wait till you get into a CRJ sim. 20 seconds to look over the plates? you're lucky! How about "ok sit down, and here's your clearance...we're starting off at XYZ and you are on the runway..."... -
