I have no idea how a 121 Cheiftain was.. but I flew a corporate PA31-350 and it was marvelous. Flew about the same as a Baron... if you could get the engines started.
They do not include airspeeds or limitations in the binder anymore. There is a little worksheet, but you won't be able to fill it out until you get to training and receive your CFM and FOM. So for now.. just concentrate on the flows. If you have those down, the rest will come in due time. Enjoy...
Most of our profiles are ~V2+15 until acceleration height (normally 500AGL), which is when we retract flaps and accelerate to our normal climb speed (200 or 250 kts depending on airspace, etc.)
On my IOE, we did the beaumont overnight. I flew the leg from IAH over, beautiful night. Just a little chilly, not even windy. Nice stabilized approach, I start to flare... then SLAM!!!. I'm like what the heck? Then SLAM!!! again from the nosewheel. Gotta love it. As the passengers are...
I was flying for a group called Weiser-BRown Operating Company. They operate a Cessna 210N. It's a fairly nice plane, leather interior. Not great panel; however, they are paying a pretty nice daily rate for Magnolia, AR. If interested, PM Me and I'll get you the #.

Amen to all..
I thought I had a non-psycho, halfway decent girl... then she's started getting more and more crazy.
For example, she went crazy because the stores closed early on New Years eve. Now.. I'm sitting at home waiting on her because she insists on driving me to the airport. Don't...
I used to direct news... It really is a shame that the newsies (anchors, reporters, producers) are pretty much forced into doing some of these "breaking news" stories. If you weren't on the story while it was happening, if something really bad (newsworthy) did happen and you weren't on it, you'd...
As far as I know all of the cargo is gone from TXK. I used to hang out around there quite a bit. May Air shut down (and I wouldn't have flown for them anyway if I were you) quite a number of years ago, they had Beech 18s, a DC-3, and some Lodestars. The caravan that used to fly there from...
Get Married...
My fiance' is house sitting and taking care of my dog while I'm in training and on trips and such. Come to think of it, I bought it for her anyway, so she should.
If you knew your Jepps, systems of the most complex a/c you're flying, basic IFR regs (91, 135, or 121 whichever you currently operate under) you'll do ok. Paperwork like everyone else said is the biggy. I think they're probably being more selective since it is the end of the year. I was hired...
Yeah, I wouldn't lie about that. Be honest. If they look at your logbook and anything about it is in there, they'll find it. They asked me at my interview about an incident in a plane I haven't flown in 5 years. In the end, it was no big deal, just explained the situation, how I handled it, and...
Yeah really, just be courteous, neat, and have the paperwork in order and exactly how the sheet described it. Better to be overly prepared with the paperwork, especially the stapled part and the resume's. Be prepared for a long day, too. I brought like some breakfast bars or something and...
Unless there are 2 engines burning Jet A... not on your life. Having flown all over Texas.. that's kind've like flying across an ocean. Nothing there unless you're near one of the large metro's.
I guess I'm just a wuss.. but it beats being stuck in a boat in freezing temperatures in the...
Well.. I would only send them another one if they don't call you for say.. a month, or 100 hours single/10+ hours multi. It took them a few days to call after I sent an updated resume'. They did a small phone interview then invited me down to houston.
Nick
Just fax them a resume', and they will call you back. Whatever you do, don't update your info on the website, as it resets you to the back. It took them nearly a month to call back after I faxed a new resume'...and when they called they were reading off the old one. So you never know.
