Congrats are indeed in order. The re-do is complete. Fair and Equitable.
See you on the line.
In the immortal words of my favorite General (who I'm sure would add his congratulations, and excuse the use of his favorite emoji)... Bye Bye. :D
If pilots "need a pay raise to pay the bills", then they need a class on personal finance.
Yes we should be paid more for what we do. RJ pilots even more so.
We also should not work three calendar days for 10 F-ing hours of pay. We shouldn't work 12-14 hours in a day and get paid 5.
We...
Your standard of measure might be misplaced. DUI has a signed contract, the MOU, and if I remember correctly that lasts until 2019. DUI doesn't have any obligation to look at Delta, UAL, or anyone else. He has a contract. We are not in section 6 negotiations.
If DUI were to adjust the MOU...
Delta pays its employees too much and has profit sharing. They will collapse under the huge cost disadvantage. SEA gates will be available for dirt cheap in no time.
AA will kick ass because they will have a huge employee cost advantage over their competitors. DUI Doug has always had an employee cost advantage, and that is why he is a wall street god.
Welcome to Walmart Air.
So now I gotta start carrying an extra cell phone to surrender a false one to authorities?
Not sure about F-16s and all but there was a big fire in D Concourse from the moving side walk that caught fire. A moving sidewalk in CLT catching fire.. who would have thought.. those things are broke...
"As to the "American Culture", I can only say that Doug Parker and Scott Kirby think that sacred cows make the best burgers."
I suspect Parker/Kirby have no clue what they are bitting off if they think they will easily foist their Walmart culture on APA.
My take is that many FAs have been berated too many times by overbearing supervisors for "foolishly thinking" that they can adjust any policy for anyone.. Especially not during boarding because any delay causes financial harm to a supervisor's on-time bonus metric.
But the real instigators in...
Ok, lets assume that anything other than the Nic triggers a DFR....(I'll humor you and we can ignore that Judge Silver found the West DFR was ripe, held the trial, and found in favor of the East and USAir. We will pretend that there is no MOU that abandoned the Nic, and nullified all previous...
You are doing a lot of whining and making accusations. Those accusations were put on trial and found without merit. Such arguments are emotional and overreaching.
Ask Freund to show you one legal document that affirms the status quo includes anything besides the three lists in effect. Just...
The idea of a Nic DFR being successful are just laughable (it was already tried on the merits and lost). And that loss was before the protections and immunities that are stacked up a mile high in the MOU, the Protocol Agreement, the two arbitrations set forth, the upcoming JCBA, and above all...
