Graduating isn't hard, paying for it is! Not all of us were able to get loans and grants. Company ceasing operations and living on savings/401k, paying for cancer treatment, damn, my 19 years of experience should count for something. Just trying to show people there are always extenuating...
So if you get gateway travel to your "base" for reserve or pre-duty rest, is this rest/lodging taken care of by the company or is it the responsibility of the pilot?
This thread is proof that pilots are self serving primmadonna's. Dude is trying to help us save time and gets no support...awesome. No wonder we cant unify in a grander scheme...
It didnt seem to negatively affect the pilots from the golden age of aviation, (60's, 70's, 80's) approximately half did not have degrees and they made a rather comfortable income for several decades.
I too had the series of emails. Mine upon opening had been altered by the HR department to a "declination" box being checked as it looks like my TBNT letter was what they had wanted to send.
5th "No Thank You"....weird thing is, it is from the February app I believe. My December one still said "Under Review", but when I signed in today to view my profile after receiving the "No Thanks", I had an "Offer Letter" under my app.....WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? Thanks all, lets keep trying!
