If this is the position for an Excel operating under DB Aviations' 135 certificate, I would advise all of you to steer way clear of this one. There are more BS problems up there than you could imagine. And the pay sucks for the hours you'd put in.

Could it really be worse than being furloughed and unemployed, with hungry mouths to feed?
No. I just cannot stand to see OUR profession brought down by operators that take advantage of this. Especially one in the Chicago area where there are a lot of pilots looking for unemployment.

I guess its a good thing you have a job and dont have to worry about this then, and hope for your sake you never have to.

I was trying to give a lead for some guys in a sinking boat...I apologize and wont do it again. Attitudes like yours dont help the industry either, buddy.

Just keep worrying about number 1 and keep your mouth shut.

If I just worried about number 1 then I would just be another A-Hole. The thing is, I love this career it sickens me to see how others are treated in this dog-eat-dog world.

It is attitudes like mine that do help our industry. I am the one that fights for our flight departments salary. I am the one that must research what our pay should be.

I am sorry that I offend you. That was not my intention. See previous post.

You didnt offend me, my intention was just to let some of these guys know that there was a job out there and it could be lucrative for someone.

I think they finally found someone. Tall guy (still leans to the right.... a condition caused by his last job). Hope he knows what he is in for.

Do you know how the new guy is working out, Viffer?

am I reading this correctly

Airbaker,

The reason it has taken a while is our insurance set high minimums and we had to get them to lower them to find more qualified people.

With all due respect, does anyone else see something really wrong here.

Nah, that was two jobs ago when I wrote that. I have no idea with so many changes that took place around that airport in the last year or two. That's all for them to worry about though, but I hope things have improved.
