And I always felt like as a last ditch effort we had the swaPULL forum to fall back on. But, with the latest tricks in "moderation" and intimate knowledge of the fact that the swaPULL lawyer is doing everything she can to kill the forum it's a real disappointment to see that the poon is no longer a safe harbor.

I'd have to say I disagree. If anything the swaPULL forum is worst now because it's the same five guys bickering back and forth about the most inane ******************** imaginable and the moment that something useful pops up-The BOD reps jump in and delete entire threads.

Nanny State.

Pprune is obviously now being moderated and controlled by pilots beholden to management.

That's not good for us.

One forum controlled by a MGT that wants us to STFU because we're critical of them.

The other forum controlled by our elected and paid for officials that want us to STFU because we're critical of the job they're doing.

Additionally, I've been in many a $hit$torm on the poon, much worse than now and never had my posts censored or pulled and NEVER been unable to access the forum. The specific thread that I'm talking about was where it was pointed out that YET ANOTHER former union rep was now working in the chief pilots office,


That kind of censorship should concern each and every dues paying member.

I think it's even worse than that. The site is being taken over by simmers/posers with Aussie moron mods (with names like John Tullamarine) refusing to do a thing about it.

Never spent any time on the threads outside of the SWA forum.

The history of how/why the SWA portion started was that back in the late 90's our union was so in bed with mgt they were kicking pilots off the swaPULL forum for daring to question the actions of the union which were quite contrary to representing the membership that paid their salaries.

Moderators were heavy handed company lackeys that hated anyone that dared to question the great and omnipotent SWA.

So they kicked a bunch of dudes off, threatened to do the same to anyone that dared to question their actions. HITSWAPA came out of it which eventually led to the genesis of SWA PPRUNE.

Somewhere between here and there the moderators that are now controlling the activity on the SWA pprune once again drifted into alignment with management as opposed to the membership.

Disturbing since there is no viable option due to the fact that the current swaPULL moderators are none other than the BOD who loathe the membership and are heavy handed as well.
