I absolutely love it at SW, it has been a pleasure working with some great people. I have noticed for awhile, SW captains, (junior/senior, young/old) have commented over and over that they prefer flying with us FATties! Well done my Tranny brothers and sisters!

I am not sure about thst . Everyone one of you have been awesome to fly with . but the same goes for the RSW also .

I highly suspect you're trolling here. But in case you're serious, I'm a SWA captain. Please let the record show that I've never said that. Nor have I heard any other SWA captain say that.

There are good 'uns and bad 'uns, both in flying ability and attitude, from both sides of the partition.

Please let the record show,I am not a SWA captain. I am an out of work VHS salesman , waiting to get on as a Skywest dispatcher ?

(Until a tranny gets into a -300 in the clouds- look out!)
 
The -300 is a fine airplane, except for that accursed NAV toggle switch that I never can remember.

Have you held in it yet? It is the very definition "What's it doing now?" I have to keep track on a piece of paper with hold drawn out or I'm just along for the ride.

Flaps 1 takeoff. Miss them.

Also miss reaching up to turn off the carb heat but grabbing the B side hydraulics instead - not that I ever did that.

Don't even ask about the time I may or may not have electrocuted myself trying to figure out how to plug in the jumpseat headset. What the hell is behind that panel/cubby hole anyway? A 5 billon volt reactor? Still don't have feeling in 2 of my fingertips on my right hand.

I'll bite! All of the FATs I've flown with have been great except for one. He was one of the most arrogant, self absorbed, one upping narcissists I have ever met. It must be awesome to be as awesome as him!

For the record, there are folks like this on both sides I just thought I should point this one out.

I know for a fact that the above can't be true because I haven't transitioned yet so you couldn't have flown with me :laugh:!

Don't worry JB. I've got a feeling they he's going to be re-upgrading real soon. :eek: I'm assuming that you're in the ATL base ?
 
He will be. He'd better learn to do things properly and lose the "tude" or that upgrade of his won't be as easy as he thinks.

He's the only one to give me any problems. Everyone else has been awesome!

I'll put it this way - I'm not a mind reader (but can see through clothes. It's more of a curse than you think), so there's another reason I was able to guess his position on the list.

You have to watch Dicko . . . His favorite trick is to replace your leather jacket's velcro nametag with a replacement one that says something like "Capt Biggus Dickus". or "Naughteous Maximus". ;)

Nice to be flying and to take care of your families

Ladies and Gentlemen,
My name is Al Negaty, and I had the privilege to fly with a bunch of great pilots and friends at Airtran Airways. I am looking forward to fly with Southwest Airlines. Unfortunately this will not happen for a while.

I am on disability at this time because of some heart problem i have to take care.

financially it has been very difficult because of the wrong doing of ALPA and SWAPA.

ALPA did not protected us Pilots on disability and SWAPA had some contingency money given to them to make sure the Mutual fund would be funded. The money given was used for other things that was more important.

I want to thanks Southwest Airlines to fund the mutual fund so a bunch of us will be able to pay our bills this month. It was the responsibility of ALPA to make sure that will be cover under the transition. Pass or failed? FAILED!

So you can B***h who is the better pilots.

But no one is taking care of their brothers in disability.

Humvee, no, not him. Another guy. More junior. I can handle yoga guy, he's just weird. This guy's one upmanship was tournament level.

Luv2Bflyin, think what you want about me but the former AT guys I've flown with are in concurrence with me. I may think I'm a bad ass from time to time though! ?

Every FAT I've flown with so far has been a good dude. I was a little worried that it'd be tough when matched up with a FAT but now I look forward to it, esp. if going through ATL.

However, I'm fairly junior and have not had the opportunity to fly with any but junior guys.
