The CRJ CPA at IAD will not be renewed. It was the best airline experience I've had, all the best to the crews affected.

I wonder if that's because of United repositioning it's regionals. At Mesa, we're being moved out of ORD and into IAD in September. Does your flying end in Sept. or October?

I think first planes leave in September and all gone by March.

UA is doing a "regional re-alingment" this is the beginning .. They only want 2-4 carriers at each hub..

Well, they never wanted ASA flying for them in the first place. Skywest strong-armed them into a contract after UA borrowed millions from Inc. This could be seen a mile away.

Hmmm.. Yea ok... Explain how SkyWest was able to "strong-arm" UA. Did it go like this?

UA- INC can we borrow millions?
INC- Well ok. Only if ASA can fly 14 A/C under the UA banner.
UA- NO!!!
INC- Ok no money for you then. ( you can hear the foot steps of INC fading away in the distance)
UA- Hold on INC come back here! FINE 14 A/C for 5 years. OK?
INC- sounds good, let me grab the check book. ( INC whispers amongst themselves.. Do you think chutchy will see this a mile away?)

It's no secret UA wanted Skywest to do that flying and specifically not ASA. Don't ask me how the conversation went. And no need to be a smart ass.

Planes were turds, Air Wisc ground handling was a turd..and 60% of domestic UA passengers experience this turdage every day. I flew a few of those trips. I couldn't even get a lav dump once a day and the airplanes are filthy because UA decided they don't want to pay for cleaning in between flights. WTF. This industry sucks. Badly.

An $80m loan from Skyw in exchange for Asa getting the foot in the door at ual. Unfortunately we blew it because we bought xjt rather than grow ourselves and we couldn't run a dependable operation with our occ.
