Rene, how soon will pilots 750-1100 upgrade with 5% attrition?

I seem to remember leaving Mesa 5.5 years ago and everyone I came up with wearing 4 stripes where I'm at now... Not so much for my classmates at MAG. But keep dreaming about your airline, at least in this biz there will always be a place for the low ball operators.

Methinks yo have another agenda?

Says the one poster who is always spinning Mesa into a positive light, only posts in Mesa threads and is obviously pushing a pro-Mesa agenda.

Mesa has been/always will be a four letter airline. The pilot community is small and places like Mesa don't get their reputations for no reason.

If you think you're worth $22,000 a year get a job at a burger joint, but don't go getting into $100,000 worth of debt to do it.

I've been saying the exact same thing.

Once again you are spreading false information

Wow, you just continue to show your ignorance. As of today Mesa pilots = 632 332 Captains & 300 FO's. With only the growth already announced of 40 aircraft Mesa will hire 468 pilots over the next 15 months. this SIMPLE math results in 220 new captains.

With any additional AA growth or with the 30 united E 175 options, we are looking at very fast upgrades.

Hard to compare a TA at republic with a five year old contract at Mesa?

Good luck hiring 31 pilots a month, chubby

Until you screw things up and UAL takes those planes and place them with Express jet

DL and the 900s?
Remember?

As in "Express Jet" better know as Skywest!!!... XJT doesn't even have a E175 program started.. It took SkyWest a Year. Mesa has a delivery in 2 months!!

Mesa is a different airline

Mesa is just a much different airline than it may have been when you were here. At least from where I sit, it is a much better run airline from a maintenance and from a pilot training and staffing perspective. This may just possibly WHY Mesa is earning new business from UAL and AA?

Mesa is dog sht

Its been about 7 years since I was at the regionals. I seem to remember this exact thread title. We all know mesa is not a great place. As long as there are low time, hungry pilots, with jets in their eyes, Mesa will be able to hire pilots.
