I just read DL will add 5 daily flights between SEA and PHX(5 76 seaters), a daily nonstop to PSP, Sat only service to TUS, and an extra daily 757 to HNL. Looks like this will start Dec 20th. I believe there will also be an additional ANC nonstop during the Winter, increasing to three daily in the Summer. Good idea, there are probably lots of DL pax that would like to connect all over at the SEA "hub."

GL...weren't you just whining about Horizon flying some ANC-FAI route? Now your championing Delta Connection flying what should be YOUR mainline flights? I don't get it. SEA-PHX. SEA-SAN. SEA-PDX. SEA-SFO. All RJ metal and you are just sitting back stroking yourself over it. SEA-PHX, SEA-SFO and SEA-SAN are mainline jet routes....your flying. Emirite? Seems Delta can't cut the mustard with their cost structure. That tells me SEA-ANC, FAI, HNL and LAX will all be bleeders. JNU will be a disaster. Congrats though! Carry on and whatever you do, don't squint too hard.

Your Horizon flights are between the two largest cities WITHIN your home State. That is just INTERESTING, and unfortunate.

The DCI expansion in SEA is due to the additional 717s moving into DTW. Compass E175s, mainly flying out of MSP and DTW are being sent Westbound because new 717s are recapturing old mainline routes, which is a good thing. Only 11 717s have started flying so far, with 77 more to come. Hopefully these RJs out West will find solid routes, and maybe 717s or larger could replace them eventually. All other mainline planes are already assigned to what seems to be profitable routes, hence $1.3 billion profit in Q3 alone last year. There will be a plus 30 mainline planes coming this year, with 14 or so older 757s being parked. So, 44 new planes (739ERs and 717s), and then additional planes including A321s and A330s coming in subsequent years. Good stuff.

Sorry Red, I re-read it and mainline gained a HNL flight, and an extra year round ANC nonstop. There was a recent bid and 10 FOs got SEA 7ERB, with a mix of reinstatements and entitlements. SEA does seem to be expanding at mainline, and it is senior.

Transcon flights on 90 seat RJ's? Yea, that argument is not going to work out too well for you there Jenny.

Seattle to San Diego.
Seattle to Phoenix.
Seattle to San Francisco.

I don't care what's going on with the 717, this is just proof positive that RA likes his larger RJ's and will be looking for more in the future.

Really? DL is "Georgia Air?" Btw, ATL to SAV is going almost all 717 shortly. Not the case with ANC to FAI, which will mostly be Horizon. Hey, don't be "hatin", I'm just pointing out something ironic. I hope it changes back.
