Fantabulous? Your FO pay is lower in most years than JetBlue's E190 FO rates.... Much lower than our A320 FO rates.

And we ain't exactly the highest paid...

Bwahahahahahahaahaha

Typical JB response. I know it's hard for you to understand because you don't know what a contract is, but Spirit pilots W2s are A LOT HIGHER than the simple pay rate suggests. It's called a good contract and soft time

are you gona be a capt anytime soon? there are FO coming in now upgrading in the 2 year mark! dumbass like smartass...koolaide

Last bid had 190 captain at 3 years.
I think you are a little off about koolaide drinking.
Smartass just put some facts out there I didnt see him bash Spirit.
The real question is did you apply to Spirit and what is your problem
with jetBlue?

Yeah I've been applying at spirit, JetBlue, vx, airways, atlas. I have no problem with either place. I have a prob with smartarse and his selling program about JetBlue. He's a idiot just look at a the JetBlue forum he's post at. JetBlue is the last place I'd go juts because of the insurance they have. I won't put my family in those predicament.

idiot how much is that insurance premium? Do you know their soft money CBA? Lay off the koolaid please.

1. My insurance premiums are zero, my wife has a great job.

2. Your posts are flame bait. You are a CRJ pilot working under one of the WORST contracts in the industry, and you degrade jobs that are FAR better than your own.

Been trying to get in at nk. I know that nk is the hype now. Smartass is a company koolaide liberal. He was a company beotch at pinnacle so I'm not surprise.

Again, I have a couple thousand posts on fi, many from when I was still at 9E with you. I have asked that you quote one showing me as a 9E company guy. You can't. That place should burn in hell, with you still in it.

You are a flame baiter pinnacle airlines CRJ pilot. Enough said.

Well I guess you won't have to worry about working with him again

How's that blue juice tasting, Smarta$$. Higher hourly rates don't always equate to higher W2's ;)

First of all, I don't normally make disparaging comments about other major airlines. My comment was about his inflated claims of fantabulous pay. The fact is that spirit does have some of the lowest fo pay in the industry, even lower than JB.

As far as soft pay, what specific contract clauses provide so much extra money in spirits contract?

For comparison, my w2 is FAR greater than my pay rate suggests, so I will give you an example from my employment agreement to support that claim. Nearly everything I do with pay credit above 78 hours is paid at 150%. That is all flight pay, deadhead pay, cancellation pay, flight sim pay, classroom training pay, PTO (paid time off), vacation, and even SICK CALLS, all paid at 150%.

We also have some 190% JA and emergency assignment pay.

And a 13% 401k company contribution.

So, what clauses specifically add so much soft time to spirit w2?

How nice no wonder you preach the high god. You use your wifes insurance. Your right 85% voted on this TA and my vote unfortunately wasn't enough voice. Your the one that degrade jobs raining on other peoples parade making it seem like jetblue is the only place to go. Fool please dont spare me with your koolaid.
