Arbitration is always fun. Sure glad LASA decided to shut down joint negotiations with their - our PBS system or nothing and we won't negotiate at all on this type attitude.

Sure glad XJT decided to thug out and force a PBS Turd.

Congrats guys, nice work on the pay too.. So much for the 20% raise.

Idiots.

It was arbitrated, not voted for. It is was based on L-ASA rates with L-XJT QOL, healthcare, and retirements plans considered in the overall cost. I do not like it, but we are just getting the industry average set by the others, including L-ASA years ago.....just sayin.

HA. You have no idea what kind of other things the LXJT pilots will have to give once the JCBA starts again. You should have hired some professional negotiators instead of using a second string.

The issue I have with the payrate is with Contract 04 the 135 rates were sold to the group as a "if we ever get larger aircraft we can show that we fly 13 seats less for x dollars less than 50 seats so we should get x dollars more for larger aircraft". To me this would have meant about $4 an hour more(depending on the longevity year) for a 60-66 seat aircraft and then another $4 for a 70-76 seats. In theory this payrate is for 76 seat aircraft as that is what the growth at UAL, AA, and DAL is going to be. So we should have gotten around $8 an hour(again maybe more maybe a little less depending on the longevity year) using the precedence of the difference between 37 seat and 50 seat pay that is already in our contract.

$2 is a ********************ing joke and I cant believe the arbitrator would actually think that was a sufficient raise. From what is being posted on the crack pipe so far nobody is happy with it and most people expect the airplanes(if we actually ever get anything larger) to go junior because its not worth peoples time to even go to training on a new airplane for $2.

I call BS on that! Ever hear of BSJS? (Bigger Small Jet Syndrome). Years ago at LASA we had senior pilots actually move to DFW so they could fly the ATR!

I agree. Some 8-hole will want to fly it for the glamour/prestige of flying the "heavy", having 2 cart donkeys, etc.

As well as a E-tard/G-tard lifer/"professional FO".

Or the American Eagle Captains who commute from DFW to ORD to fly the CRJ for an extra $4-$5/hour because they can't lower themselves to flying the ERJ.

We are fully expecting enhanced QOL thru SmartPref, superior healthcare (that Obama will make sure lasts long time), extra-superior 401K (soon to be enriched by a minor debt crisis).

Additionally, the aforementioned perks have been guaranteed by King Tutt himself. He promised on the tee all would remain intact on the JCBA.

My ability to bid around Mini Indy and my mother's funeral are a critical piece of the pie. Remember, it doesn't matter how we got here, and hourly rate is just a small piece of the golden goose egg that is L-XJET!

That's ASA, why would people actually go to training to actually make less flying a bigger airplane? With PBS there is very little soft time. PBS is directly tied in with flying the 170 at L-xjt. I on average fly 75 hours and get paid 90 to 95 hours flying the 145. That's what line bidding and soft time gets ya. With PBS you have very little soft time. On top of that if the company somehow figures out how to get rid of hour soft time I just need to fly a minute and a half longer and badda bing badda boom I get paid just as much, still have total control with line bidding, still get 21 days off for one week of vacation, and am able to maximize days off and pick up soft time.

Who gives a damn. The gravy train is over if there ever was one. Get used to the ASA Way. It's the most retarded company you've ever dreamed of. Ghetto and Redneck, side-by-side. With a golf-loving rich white dude running the controls.

I agree the gravy trains last days are among us, but until its truly over a bunch of us are staying on the 145 until that ship has sailed. Why work hard, work smart. Had the pleasure of flying with a few guys that had 8 or 9 years at Asa then went to fly corporate only to come back, they called it Asa-afying xjt. And that's what is slowly occurring.
