Your own airline, Atlas Air Cargo, came out of Chap 11 BK in 2004. You knew that, right?
Bye Bye---General Lee

It's not a plan but you asked what I'd prefer. I'm not an airplane guy so I guess I'd prefer to not work.
The facts are tough things.
Both Northwest and Delta entered bankruptcy before the new laws changed at the end of Sept. 2005.
Completely fabricated. All leases and contracts re-negotiated because 'we said so'. Pathetic when you look at it for what it was. A way to shed debt because they couldn't manage their way out of it. Management failure, not the pilots or other labor groups. They had to take the pay cuts, again pathetic.
That's pretty bold Kramer......it wasn't fun to go through, and I hope you never have to, at your company or personally. But, this country believes in second (and sometimes third, fourth) chances. If you don't like that, move to Russia. Some people make a lot of money in BK, like the lawyers. Some people never recover. That's life and business in the USA.
Bye Bye---General Lee
Wasn't a slam on you General. Both bankruptcies were a sham to reduce their cost because of poor management and the opportunity to get it done before the laws changed. You disagree?
Scotch is in the water.
Where can I buy this water?
Funny how despite all our differences, pilots usually agree on booze, women, and guns. Oh, and grills...On this Lear and I agree. That or Oban.
Come on General, no one would get a personal pan before going to those destinations. Just hold out and save the calories for better food.
AUS has BBQ
ABQ has green chile soup
LAS has the Roach coach
and OMA is a tie, I would hold out for godfathers personally.
LOL...and where the General flies, they have malaria.
Dalmore 18!! Water is sacrilege but a cube or two it's as close to perfect as it gets! Of course a 21 or even the impossible 30 plus is closer but not on a pilots salary!![]()
Nothing really compares to the 75. It was a clean sheet design.
Would you rather make $250,000 flying a 737, or $150,000 in a "really big jet"?
You're going to like the MBJ overnights. Macallan 18 year is about $60. No joke, have a bottle sitting on my bar at home. Well... Half a bottle now.Any of the Macallans is perfection, but anything past 15 gets pricey. The 18 is amazing but haven't had the funds to try anything older. A splash of water to open the flavor is needed OR an ice cube, not both.
