SEC filings and DOT/FAA numbers are completely different. Apples and oranges.

'The reason is simple, that in many ways, we continue to operate as two separate airlines with the partition in place with the FAA, even though we’re clearly one Company and one Family.'

Seperate in the eyes of the FAA.

One company in the eyes of the SEC.

And for the record, the Airtran side has really done well with all of the above numbers. Which is awesome. More profit sharing for all of us, which is a good thing.

You know in public when I come across current Airtan and DAL crews I never stop and think I wonder how I can be as toxic as I read on flightinfo.

If you came across me in public and told me how lucky I am, how I won the lottery, and get over any ill feelings, there's a good chance you'll see the toxicity. Funny thing is, I've only came across one of those so far and I'll bet that individual is not even on FI based on thier statements as they had absolutely no clue what was going on. As for the FI posters, I'd bet most, if not all, would not say anything toxic in person that they post on here.

Except that after cutting our 401 contributions, AirTran pilots are not eligible for profit sharing this year. One Luv bitches!

Wrong. These numbers are exactly what you will be paid out for this year. Your deposit will go in Sept 2013 for this earning/calendar year. Nice attempt at hijacking a thread with your anger.

So these numbers every quarter should matter.

Fletch717 and BR715, redflyer65 is correct. Little surprised you guys didn't know that. Over time, it's a huge chunk of change.

Keep it in the back of your mind as every little bit helps.

It's great to see the good numbers. They could have been higher though. We are not even connecting bags or pax yet. Pitiful. It's great the GO knows how to throw a good deck party. Now how about putting that energy into completing the airline merger.

I think his point is that SW guys are getting a profit sharing check in 2012 based in part on what AirTran did in 2011 post DOCC. Some (most?) feel that the AirTran guys should have been made eligible as of DOCC in May 2011 for a pro-rated payout in Sept of this year.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I seem to remember that new SWA employees weren't eligible for profit sharing until their first anniversary. So every SWA employee worked for the company for a year without profit sharing contributions.
