Rumors are flying around right now. I have heard that some of the senior guys have got fed up and have just walked away but also hear of senior guys fighting to stay every day they can. Last thing I heard was in the fall the doors open to interview again primarily for the 190 in PHL

Nope. PHX is dead there are a bunch of westies furloughed. They will be out for a long time! The east is were the growth is.

If that happens then the groups will merge quicker, no min fleet count, PHX shrinks, pilots forced east, no hiring into PHX, & best of all St. Little dick's head blows up from the rage.

Bid 12-04 was just published for November. 50 new hires and 26 E190 Captains and F/O to support the 5 E190s returning to mainline.

PHX is NOT DEAD. Just another St. Nicky WRONG prediction. What a surprise.

We have some pilots returning from MLA & LOA. I consider it is despicable for the company to not RETURN PHX to the fleet numbers BEFORE we bought US Airways, and continue to hire fresh in the East.

That said, we only have 50 or so that remain furloughed in the west. Of those, I expect 30 or so to return. When we check the schedule we see RED FLAG trips EVERYDAY (while the company says we are fully staffed, RED FLAG means that RSV is being depleted).

Look to see new hires in the West next year sometime (IMHO).

I was at a union meeting yesterday and the vice chairman of membership services said there was a new hire class today and one a month of 20 for the rest of the year.

Starting in January there will be two classes a month. No other details.
