Mugging at gunpoint in the parking lot of this hotel on 4/14. Three muggers, one of whom displayed a gun, took $$, credit cards, chart bag and car. No injuries.

It was going downhill long before that time. Series of criminal mayors, corrupt city councils in the 70's just to name a few. I lived there 28 years, moved out 5 years ago and without hesitation the best view of ATL is in your rear view mirror headed west on I-20..or from FL410 and 500 mph.
btw...if the city wanted to be historically accurate it would be called:
"Atlanta's Hartsfield Airport at Candler Field" and coming soon:
"Billy Payne International Terminal"
