Republic F/O only pay raises?

Did I read correctly over at airlinepilotcentral.com that Bedford is giving ONLY the F/O's raises unilaterally while you guys are in contract negotiations? There's probably more to the story if it is true at all.......just curious.

The union ask the reverent for this about 3 years ago and he said we can't because the CBA!! Funny that now is ok!! more like they have no control on anything. The COO also talk about pay raises for the mechanics, what a perfect timeline when they are about to bring a union....

I didn't realize you guys were having attrition/hiring problems such that a regional airline CEO would want to actually give pay raises out of the goodness of his heart
