As most of us on the "FAG" side feel, the fight is over and the SLI is H2O under the bridge....and most of you guys on here have been saying the same thing....

One question!!!!

Why when we see you in the terminal at our combined operations or in the shared hallway to the crewrooms (MCO) and now BWI per a memo to our CP, DO YOU GUYS AND NOW THE FA'S REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE OUR EXISTANCE!!! You walk by look straight ahead and pretend not to see us.?

I am sure some guys on our end have acted like douch bags, but over 83% of us are glad to be part of the family!!!

And it is not me, for that I am sure. And I know that 83% of your guys voted yes for this also, so is it just that I am running into the 17% all the time!!!

We will be sharing the cockpits starting in FEB, so we really need to move on from the child games and start working together...

Flame away...

PS... for those who dont know FAG is Former Airtran Guy, nice touch BTW since us former and current Military guys do know the true meaning of the FAG term!

I'm a SW/MCO guy, and I always say hi and acknowledge my fellow aviators, including the AT folks. Always have, and always will. Most of the AT folks have been friendly, but a few have been pricks in the last year or so.

It's not just us. I tried to say hi one of your FOs while waiting for my sandwich at AuBonPain, and she simply ignored me......

And I won't even mention the loudmouth Capt on the prison bus berating me in front of 5 other AT pilots for the SLI, like I had anything to do with it.

Well said Trip, as I said there are some "douch bags" on our side that just cant get over it, and that CA should be shot (lol) as I have said many times we (the pilots) on both sides did not do this, we are just along for the ride.

Thanks for a civilized response, a rare event on FI, just wait and see!

Hello.....

I hope you have a good flight today.....

Wife and kids doing ok?....good...

See ya next week.....

FWIW: the folks in BOS, say the Air Tran Pilots are very rude to them. I said "com'on no way!!" "yep they said" maybe its the 14% ers?

Thanks, same to you. I guess I should have said this is not just me and and I dont need a "pump up" this is being said by most on our side. FWIW

I am an Airtran guy and I have actually been impressed with Southwest guys going out of their way to make me feel welcome. In both BWI and MDW recently I have had guys literally walk across the hall to stop and say hello, shake my hand, and welcome me aboard. I'm not sure there is a concerted effort to be disrespectful or rude, maybe some people just aren't very friendly.

Interesting, I sure hope it is the 14%ers. I always make a point to say hi to the rampers and gate agents in BOS and LAS and anywhere SWA does our ground ops now. But come to think of it I say Hi to the Airtran rampers and agents also!

Part of the reason of me posting this is maybe it will enlighten some of the 17%ers on both sides and may help change some of it. At least I have a "dream"!!

Here's my idea. Let's get a big room and lock our 15% and your 15% in there. Let them beat the bejeesus out of each other and the rest of us can go about our business.

For what it's worth, the only negative SWA guy I've met was 2 days after the merger announcement. Post agreement, I've been greeted warmly and reciprocated in kind.

I have had great drinking and airport events with all AT folks. It's over (sli) people just need to get over it. I prefer to concentrate on what will become of SWA in a positive way. Hell I'm still at the bottom. I want to treat people the way I want to be treated.
