Jerome 'Randy' Babbitt, FAA Administrator, arrested for DWI.

The administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration was arrested over the weekend by Fairfax City police and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Update 1:53 p.m. ET: FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt has been placed on leave after he was charged with driving while intoxicated over the weekend, the agency said Monday.

The Transportation Department, which oversees the FAA, said it didn't learn about the incident until Monday, two days later. Deputy Administrator Miguel Huerta will serve as acting administrator while officials consider Babbitt's "employment status," the Transportation Department said..

Doesn't matter what his age is, he hasn't flown in decades mostly because he's been an ALPA lifer. He'sva bureaucrat. So here's the big question - does he his job or does he get a bye as an Obama union appointee?
