Not trying to flame bait, I am just curious, after the merged pilot lists what is there to stop Bedford to just sell planes, gates, parts, etc to "Airline X" and just furlough from the bottom of the combined seniority list. Are frontier pilots now officially "republic pilots" flying under the frontier brand?

Either way, I guess Bedford wont be on Undercover Boss to do a follow up and repay all those pay cuts that be promised...

Looks like an admission they can't manage Frontier.... When it was being bought, a lot of us thought LUV was going to rake them over the coals. Now they are being cut, aircraft are being sold and Republic wants out. It's a brutal business.

Very true...I think the folks at Republic really didn't take the time they needed to research this deal and know what they needed to do to make it work...It was more of a "ready, fire, aim" situation, and it proved to be a bigger task than what Republic could really handle.

yeah, right! those pompous pricks would screw it up again! :bomb:

Southwest really wants those Denver gates. Could the Frontier pilots get a second chance?

The ship has sailed on that deal.

I wonder if NK would be interested in the aircraft? Word is they are opening a LAS crew base to accomodate further west coast growth.
