FYI: The Alaska Airlines app window opened today but will close on 10/5. If you're interested, don't miss it.

The site was not cooperating this morning, but in the afternoon it was fine.

Where's Tico to throw the wet blanket on this thread?
right here .....dont worry....I will try to help these new guys understand why you and the rest of the crazy 87 decided to turn AS into a permanent "B scale" airline...no retirement, expensive insurance, 1995 wages and reserve rules even you could drive a truck through.....

Well, after working at the most dysfunctional airline out there, it looks pretty good to me.

Nothing in the AS IT system plays well with Firefox.

I got an email with my password but then I tried to click on the link to complete the registration process and came up with "error 404 page not found". Then when I try to apply using the website directly they have no record of me even though there system has generated an email.

This is getting frustrating.

was there a spot to upload a resume or only the copy and paste area? I am using safari and not sure if there was a place to upload a resume.

Anyone trying to apply at Alaska should use IE only. Most of our inhouse stuff does not play nice with safari/firefox/anything post 1998. I mean, we had to take our iPad tests on a PC running IE.

Even with IE 9 I can't get through. I was able to submit my email, but when I tried to log in with the password the computer had no record of me in the system.A friend of mine gave me a phone number of someone to call in the hiring department. I hesitated but then decided to call. I left a message and have not heard back.

I REALLY would like to be able to apply but it's been frustrating. Do I need to go back to IE 7 or something?

That might be a possibility. I think we had some problems with the latest IE. I use Firefox and haven't had any of the problems with the AS website, but then again, I luckily don't have to fill out the app.
