US Airways plane hit by small truck waiting for T/O.

Darn, I thought I was going to read about one of those new flying trucks waiting for takeoff and it hit a jet.

Maybe the tug driver thought he was driving an A380.

speaking of the PHL ramp - anyone see the fuel tanker truck with a large dent (about 3X3 foot and 10 inches deep) in side of the tank? How did that get there?

I saw that, too! Kinda scary!

A fuel truck tipped over when the driver took a turn too fast last year, near the F gates.

If you reread the article closely, you will see where the reporter clearly states that the plane was hit by a "track". So I'm certain that the tug was there only to assist in the removal of this errant piece of track. I would think the bigger question should be, from what aircraft did this "track" fall? Who is accountable? Or was it more space debris?

Please everyone. Request a runway "track" inspection so a tragedy like this one can't happen again!!
