ASA to get a LGA base?

I didn't say ASA is going to open a base in LGA.

All DCI carriers are going do LGA flying though.

Hey 701...I heard you were going to be the LGA chief pilot...:D
 
It won't be a base in LGA for ASA but I've heard they will increase the base size in DTW and flow everything to LGA from DTW. I would imagine the last thing mgmn't wants is to fool with a crew base in the NYC area. Look for another DTW vaccancy bid (at the expense of the 700 in ATL) this fall.
 
What have you guys heard about West Coast flying for ASA going into 2012? SH has mentioned it a few times during recurrent ground.
 
Did he say West Coast or just flying out West? We have a PHX overnight on the 700.
 
ASA has huge chances of operating through LGA as a result of the swap, and if the presence is large enough there will be a base. Delta is receiving a huge amount of slots at LGA, and has committed large sums of money to the project, so having a base there isn't a far fetched idea.
