ASA to get a LGA base?

With the whole USAir/Delta slot/swap deal will there be a chance of a LGA base for us? I'm hoping not although I have heard that if the deal went thru there is a better chance of a LGA base more than a MEM one. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

It seems like something was mentioned in the conference call that CT and BH held a few weeks ago. He mentioned the flying would be taken from DCA and place in LGA. I dont remember hearing about a base there. I got the impression that MEM might happen. That's not to say he didn't. After hearing CT for more than 5 minutes all I hear is "blah, blah, blah"

Comair is suppose to move all their 70/90s to LGA (sometime) because of the slot swap.

ASA in LGA = Won't happen. MEM? Still a possibility, but they can't even handle the bases we have right now.

Look for Shuttle America to pick up some of that flying. I believe they are transferring some more E-jets to the DL side.

It won't be a base in LGA for ASA but I've heard they will increase the base size in DTW and flow everything to LGA from DTW. I would imagine the last thing mgmn't wants is to fool with a crew base in the NYC area. Look for another DTW vaccancy bid (at the expense of the 700 in ATL) this fall.

What have you guys heard about West Coast flying for ASA going into 2012? SH has mentioned it a few times during recurrent ground.
