2 whole fried chickens and a coke.
Strong Bags lunch box. It keeps food cool for about 12 hrs. Get one of the headache bags from walmart, You have to fill it twice a day but well worth it. You can carry days worth of food. All home cooked, left overs. etc....Its kind of a pain at first but you get used to it and never have to eat fast food. You can also eat when you feel like it and not during 30 minute turns.

Get a Food saver vacuum system. You can cook whatever (chicken and rice ...etc) vac it and it will keep without refrigeration for a couple days.
Luggage works cooler.
4 day trip, I usually take
3 bags of instant oatmeal
3 Yogurts
12 slices of bread in the disposable zip lock tubs (4 slices a tub)
1 lb turkey or low sodium lunch meat
1/2lb sliced cheese
Peanut butter
Jelly
Spicy Mustard
6 zip lock bags of chips or pretzels
About 20 bucks worth of food.
Sometimes I Pack up cookies or leftover pizza I have at the house.
That is enough to get through a 4 day trip for me.
I still go out and eat if the crew is fun and my finances allow (back on 1st year pay again)
I went from 195lbs to the 140's by packing food and running. The amount of calories is an average restaurant/fast food meal is really eye opening.
