Atlas will be recruiting at the Aviation Career Expo in Vegas on Oct 18th.

Good time for face-to-face with HR.

Good luck!

I may have a good contact through a friend who works at ATLAS but wanted an opinion on a couple things before using that connection.

about how many days off a month do you guys usually get? And, is there any hope of being world based? Say I live in another country, do they care where they send me home to? Is there any way of taking a travel allowance and just using it towards a ticket to home? thanks. Basically, my wife will only ok this kind of schedule if she can live in the homeland:)

The lines are built for 17 days. Of the remaining days off in the month, four can be involuntarily taken but it cost them. There are folks living overseas and working for Atlas but you sort out how you get to work on your own. The Gateway program is only for the continental U.S.

Hi!

The advert I saw said they were looking for Pilots and FAs.

The current hiring is for business alreadyat hand. ie SONAIR/LCF The 747-8 would represent continued future hiring. The first 3 that Atlas takes delivery of will be placed with GSS (leasing co.) So Atlas would not see the -8s on property right away anyway. FWIW I believe Atlas will stick with thier current plan, perhaps adjusting if the Boeing norm of delay - delay....uh delay continues.;)
