Sides: New Belgium Wit with sea salt and pepper french fries.

So if I think Chili's has the best burger you will weigh me and add feathers? Islands has been pretty solid, Huntington Beach our favorite. At one time I swore the best burger I ever had was at Mitch's in Farson, WY but the details have faded. Bobs as the Marina in Stockton, CA serves up a sold burger and I have never been disappointed at Nations in Pleasanton, CA.

Palmer Place, in LaGrange, IL. Ate there twice in the last week while back in the old hometown. 1/2 pound burger with smoked cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, on a pretzel bun. Never counted how many types they have, but it's a big page!

Copeland's in New Orleans had a very good hamburger. They had a "Tiger Sauce" that was an interesting substitution for ketchup, mayo or mustard.

Best fast food hamburger is definately Spangle's in Wichita.

Now, I know you cali folks seem to think that In-N-Out is tolerable...but any hamburger you get in California is automatically over cooked and dried out. That is why I said above that California = automatic disqualification. But In-N-Out is especially bad...might as well order 3 day old dog sh*t on a bun. The first and only burger I got from there (because of the hype and my love for hamburgers) became bird food beside a road somewhere between In-N-Out and ONT.
