Ever heard of ALPA merger policy? Read up on it and get back to us. There will be no staple. There will be no one getting an a$$load of seniority of this.

Look for all MEC members to go to the top of the list. Everyone else will be relative seniority.

That is a stupid and insensitive statement. A lot of people are truly worried right now about this stuff you you speak well above your pay grade and assume we hire 2600 pilots (implying bottom of seniority list). Please think about what you are saying before you speak. We will soon sit in cockpits with these guys/gals.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to imply anything like that.

Only that with the addition of 2600 pilots, the 'short staffed' issues will probably find themselves resolved.

I'm about 60 from the bottom of ASAs list and have been furloughed for 19 months. I have a class date in a few weeks and am now wondering if the result will be that I get furloughed again in Q1 of 2011.

I'm as 'worried' about it as anyone is.
