1) Macon is an armpit.
B) MLU is the birthplace of Delta.
Finally) It's faster to drive than wait at MCN for a flight, ride a Caravan and then park on a remote pad in ATL.
Also) Service in MCN might have continued if the TSA hadn't been such a hassle to ASA about how many flights we did and when.

Actually, Huff Daland Dusters, the precursor to Delta, started in Macon then later moved to Monroe.
Doesn't matter. Macon is an armpit, and they are close enough to ATL do drive to the airport. Any Federal subsidy is a waste of money. End it.
