I know this has been beaten to bare feet, yada yada yada.
Seriously, couldn't we just have one ASA thread here, like Comair does on another forum?
Hope so!Gona be more than 4 700s I heard.
Heard Atlantic Southeast Airlines training department is set to double in size by the spring of next year, with as many as 400 newhires expected........ and no, I'm not kidding.
S.H. is now mentioning, in recurrent, that there will be no drop off in fall flying hours, due to "another carrier's misfortune".
The 30 Mesa USAir 900s?
Heard in the Chief Pilot's office 300-600 new hires. SH mentined 450, which is the avg. We better start finding some airplanes.
Using ASA's current staffing model, the 450 number can't be right. If we are getting 30 new aircraft, they would only hire about 4 pilots to staff them.
Skywest has a little pilot fat in their system for many reasons. Big flying will be going their way, if any happens.
