Have at it....

My mind says views like this enable the action of scabs!

Ya know, I just knew someome's mouth would over-ride their ass here.. you want to list people's names and numbers, home addresses, emails, then lets allow ""your"" name and number to be listed here as well... ok...

I was pretty darn clear what my personal thoughts are on this matter, but FI is not my web site and it's not your's, in the terms of service is very plainly written that scab discussions are not ever allowed!! However LEAR70 and I have agreeded to relax the rules a bit to allow you folks to blow off steam with "general discussions....

So I ask you, "flyryan15" do you really want to bite the hand that feeds you here.. do you want to be" that guy" that gets the threads deleted for everyone and we do it by the book??

My mind says the view out of your window had better clear up right quick! as we are not the bad guys.. it's the most we can do with the tools we have at our disposal... peace out...

Well if you just go to the spirit scab site and google the FO's name that flew the struck work, you can view his whole resume online...

Yes, and it's an external site that has NO link to FlightInfo whatsoever. THAT'S why CLR and I have left the link to that site up in this thread...

Look, any of you that know me know my views on unions as a necessary evil at some carriers and how I've supported unions in the past. Most of you don't know CLR, but if you knew his background, you'd understand he *IS* one of us, just no longer can fly for medical reasons and he has no love for scabs, either.

That said, this is not our site. We just enforce the rules. We are RELAXING the rules (and the webmaster doesn't know we're letting this play out - he may yank our Mod status if he gets wind of it) and letting you guys post the link to the Spirit site and discussing it on here. That's as far as we can let it go...

So please, no posting of the scabs names. If someone were to go after those guys and something criminal happened, even as benign as slashing a tire or such, FI could find itself in a load of hot water legally, even possibly shut down for instigating that action or appearing to be in passive support of such a thing. Which it's NOT, but you know how the judicial system works (or, rather, how it doesn't).

Good luck to the Men and Women at Spirit, our gratitude for fighting the good fight!

And that is all that needs to be said really. CLR just does not know how to handle the responsibility of a mod. He should be let go and replaced with mods that do not act like a child with a gun.

If you choose to work for Falcon Air and the worst C.P. and D.O. in the world, I have no sympathy for you. The guys at Falcon knew what they were in for and went anyway. One Midwest guy was calling and writing and BEGGING to get in there. The Midwest guys sold their souls to work for Falcon Air. One minute saying poor us and the next minute stabbing their brothers in the back. Lawsuits and FAA violations run rampid at Falcon. The owner and his son are crooks. Falcon Air is the place you go CAUSE NO-ONE ELSE WANTS YOU OR WILL TAKE YOU, You career is over!!!!

I SENT THE SCAB A NASTY MESSAGE ON FB HERE IS HOW HE JUSTIFY'S HIS ACTIONS!

I am sorry that I crossed the picked line. I was pressured into it by my company. I also did not understand the implications. Right after I came back I called Falcon Air crew scheduling, and told them that I did not want to do this anymore. If there where to be any consequences for the decision not to fly anymore, then so be it.

Furthermore I contacted Tony Willis, the Spirit Airlines ALPA strike coordinator in Ft. Lauderdale to explain to him that I made a mistake. I do support your cause. I offered him that I would want to walk the picket line in support of the Spirit Air pilots at the airport. He appreciated my offer, but advised me not to go because of possible confrontations.

Again, I am truly sorry for my actions and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

Respectfully,

I violated no term of service! I expressed my view! So don't use your power as a mod to threaten me! Who moderates you? This isn't socialism yet and I am allowed to have a point of view. So spare me your threat to change my view to conform to yours! That is a threat and a violation!

Hope a lot of guys sent him FB messages. I got the same reply.

So he expects us to believe the EAL SCAB listed as reference on his resume didn't tell him what he was doing?

While I think a scab is despicable and an evil being... But you can't just go posting the names and addresses on a random internet forum.
But can the info be PM'd? It could go viral quickly.

First, yes, you can disseminate whatever you want via PM - that's like an eMail, whatever you do with it behind "closed doors" is your own business. Unless there's a harassment issue, we stay out of people's PM's.

Second, CLR does a LOT of work that the other mods don't have time for... we value his time and dedication and it only takes a second to realize that we're ALL human - he's been taking a lot of heat for removing posts and other things and *any* of us can have a bad day - I had one last week with a fellow AirTran coworker I particularly don't care for and had to take a break. CLR is taking a break for the afternoon because he realized that he was getting frustrated and that all the back and forth was just angering people and distracting from the importance of supporting our brethren.

Do NOT let the angst you're feeling over the Spirit strike boil over onto this board against your fellow aviation coworkers... Lashing out tends to get people lashing out right back and, on a message board, it usually just escalates. Let's keep our heads, stay cool, focused, and support each other. This is just the FIRST fight of many coming up, both at the LCC and Regional level and, in the next year or two, the Major airline level as well.

Keep your eye on the ball... No more personal attacks. You want to remove a mod? eMail the Webmaster. I submit to you that, right now, we have more important things to worry about... as Whine Lover says, YMMV.

Nah I don't want him removed, I was just pointing out don't threaten me when I have violated no TOS. I'll let it go as he is having a bad day.
