Title pretty much sums it up. Management always says that they will close up shop if a strike happens. I'm just wondering if a strike has ever actually lead to a company shutting down.

That's a fairly pointless post isn't it?
PSA was bought out in the 80's by what is now UsAirways.
What does a strike in the 70's have to do with anything?
Look at what is left of US air, not much considering management at many US airlines and the public could care less if you went out on strike or not.

If management wants to scuttle the ship- that's their choice. Our choice is to be reasonable and know our own value.
