Comair moving out of JFK and into DTW Sept 1st

does comair have any other bases? or are they moving complete from JFK to DTW...

been a rough couple years for sure for CA....
 
CVG and DTW will be it for now. Moveing the 70/90 into JFK and LGA but remaining a CVG base for now.
 
DTW is Delta's second largest hub. They'll manage.
Didn't sound like it would be nearly as easy, at least jetBlue served the Florida to NYC market.

Sounded like there was a fair amount of fNWA commuters form Florida (Source: NWA Fa on my commute) So there will be a bit of competition.

That is far from scientific though.

Just another concerted effort by management and DS to lower costs by making as many senior pilots miserable enough to finally quit. What they don't understand is that the lifers will stay until the doors close, no matter how bad it gets. I'm sort of relieved because I don't have to compete with hundreds of JB guys for jumpseats everyday and I will not miss not making my commute home because Kennedy is ground-stopped 4 hours for a 10 knot crosswind:rolleyes:;)
