Don't be surprised of how much and how fast things will ALL come together if/when this happens.....I imagine most things have already been settled in some form in a closed room already...to the extent that all will be needed is a vote and they already know that vote will have a positive outcome to make this happen.

Be careful what you wish for...

I never said I was wishing for anything...just been in that situation before where all the ????? came together in the end very quickly. As I have said numerous times...someone knows all the answers and how this will play out. They also know the pilot groups and what will take a 51% vote.

So, CAL pilots give up scope and get a pathetic UAL caliber contract?

Not at all, you must understand that they NEED the contract to get a merger. In this situation the ball is in our court. No scope relief at all. I am not saying something is shoved down our throats...if we vote it in..they merge, so it better be good and they know it.

They already have as much scope relief as will be given in the current UAL contract. No more!

so now this open skies airline, or what ever its called, can fly madrid to iah, ewr and cle in addition to its iad service.

I tend to disregard any and all things I read which come from a source who cannot determine the rather significant difference between words like "tic" and "tick."

-Sad, just sad...

It is really not that sad...at least we are all at rest now that we have a Websters mastermind at the helm...funny how everyone else just absorbed it...THANK GOD you are here....I will sleep better tonight. Thank you.

By the way oh young skywalker...did you even read the article? Or did you just want to educate on tic/tick. You probably are just bored in your crj...most would capitalize that as CRJ.
