What "non-flying" qualities are airlines looking for when hiring pilots? AirTran is now hiring and maybe other major airlines will in the future. If there's alot of qualified candidates looking for a shot at a major airline. What are the pilot recruiters looking for in a new first officer for their airline?

Some airlines do hire Street Captains but it is rare.
