Apparently we are not "allowed" to talk about any company specifics on any msg. board...Union affiliated board or not ( this refers to the new NJA msg board). Any such post will be moderated because management told recurrents not to discuss anything outside of recurrent class. Reason being "the public" is not allowed to know any company secrets. Now furloughed pilots are considered "the public"..

This has to do something with the General, recurrent classes and staffing etc..you get the point...

Here's a news flash..the economy tanked, NJA furloughed, a lot are pissed about the lack of consideration any of us receive especially with communication. There is "talk" about more staffing evaluations in March.

BTW, Netjets is a fractional, market share leader, RTS was canned, Sokol took over and Berkshire owns us...That's all the secrets I can think of off the top of my head. Oh and we lost a buttload of money this past year...

Sorry to hear that. Some of my buddies have been furloughed from netjets and they feel the same way. The pilot group at netjets shouldn't forget about the furloughed just remember you could be next.

Seriously? If your pissed call the union / FWG and tell them your pissed, I did. You paid dues for a long time and earned that right.

I don't have the time or caring to call anyone. I bitch here because my daughter is asleep for the night, I've already played Cal of Duty today, and I've got nothing else to do at the moment.

Seriously

Hmm....

You wonder why no one lets out company sensitive information as to numbers, and then you post THIS on a public board???

Seems to me like keeping the numbers quiet was a wise decision. Sheesh...

When did possibly more furloughs and looking at staffing become company sensative info? I post out of spite and am proud to admit it;)
Don't give me a reason to be spiteful and I wouldn't even bother.

Are you serious? How is it NOT company sensitive info?

BTW more furloughs are always a possibility. This is aviation. Welcome to the rodeo.

It wasn't confidential info the last time...So whats the difference now?

Thanks, not my first big paper route.. Like I haven't been furloughed before. But thanks for playing anyways.

Just because someone published it on a public website doesn't mean it isn't or wasn't company sensitive information.

If you want the actual numbers from an official source, contact the NJASAP FWG. Then if you want to risk your seniority number, go ahead and publish it here. I'm sure someone junior to you would appreciate it.

Yup, because I'm scared that a public message board is gonna get me in trouble for talking about rumors...Why would I contact the FWG..I thought there weren't gonna be any cut backs..Remember it's all a rumor. hmmmmm

So when a public BRK report comes out that says yada yada..too many planes yadayada.. and then we gossip about more furloughs..this is somehow non-public information...?

Geez you guys are dumb....where do ya think we were gonna talk about this stuff? Remember when we were cut from the union board? Some of us said that "that's ok we'll just take our posts over to the evil FI.com" Now you guys want to try to talk about losing seniority numbers etc...And get all bent out of shape when we discuss things here... your not P.W. by any chance?

I gotta tell u the threats towards these furloughed guys who are going thru a tough time show no class. Why don't you just let them on the Union board? I could see cutting them off if they go to a different company but why cut them off now? The guy feels like he got screwed and by the way I have several netjet furloughed friends who feel the same way. You can say its not the unions fault they got furloughed but how they are being treated now says a lot.

Stop with the threats...

Why would you contact the FWG? To get OFFICIAL up to date information instead of B.S. rumor you get on FI.com.

No one is saying you can't talk about what BRK puts out in their statements. What I'm saying is that the reason you don't get HARD NUMBERS is because of loud mouths posting information the company considers sensitive. You want to know why you aren't in the loop? Look in the mirror.

How is this a threat? It is no secret that management reads message boards. If you want to risk losing your number, go ahead and break a confidentiality agreement.

Well said. "Out of sight, out of mind" sums it up best in regards to the majority of the e board and current pilots left at NJA when it comes to the furloughed guys.

I have a feeling there is more to come as far as furloughs go and most are in denial and upset as to what their beloved NetJets has become.

As far as CRJ posting "confidential" information; nothing he has said is confidential in any form. Rumors are rumors. That's what FI is for. Good luck trying to take his seniority number. The union would be wiped out financially very quickly in a lawsuit if that happened.

The info was put out to a group of PILOTS who happened to be in CMH for whatever reason. Now none of the over 2500 pilots is allowed to hear the info?

Its not like this was a top secret management brief. These were ordinary working pilots.

Ok no biggy

Like I said earlier go ahead and bring on the election. The whole pilot group will then be heard.

Again, how is this a threat? I am not in management. I am a line pilot. I don't have the authority to release people.

The furloughees are not permitted on the union boards because of the bylaws. I am just a line pilot. I am not stopping them from coming on the union boards, the bylaws are.

Here are the simple facts:

1) A manager came to a recurrent class and specified multiple times that the info provided is confidential.
2) All NetJets employees have signed agreements to not divulge information as to our inner workings.
3) CRJFlyer starts a thread wanting us to spew this information on a public board, and then can't realize his request isn't possible.
4) I try to protect not only NetJets, but CRJFlyer from divulging this information, and am accused of threatening him.

Like I said, if you or anyone wants to publish this information go right ahead. Just be prepared to suffer the consequences.

That's B.S. and you know it. My daughter's Godfather is on the list. I was in his wedding. He has a wife and daughter to provide for while on unemployment. I personally have another dear friend I have known for over 10 years on the list. Wife and autistic son. Believe me when I say that NJASAP is committed to the recall of all our members.

What else would you have us do? Honestly. What else could we have done, or can we do to help out the 495? If anyone has any ideas, I will send them to the eboard for their review. PM if that makes you more comfortable.
