Anyone out here know anything about the upcoming startup in So Cal? says they will be flying Crj700's but cant find anything else..

Anyone, anyone, Bueller?

ornstein? ohhh hey excuse me while i go pinch off a steamy ornstein....

Both findapilot and climbto350 have had postings for the management and maintainence positions... Nothing else info wise tho..

That'd be nice to be home based but I doubt it.

Who in their right mind would finance an airline right now?

The story I've heard is they are still writing manuals. Also, I was told they are basing out of SAN or Carlsbad if they ever expand the runway.

Dunno much else.

Who the F!!!! would even consider applying to this supposed b-scale bullsh!t outfit???????:uzi::mad::crying::angryfire:confused::smash::puke::confused::uzi:

If it ever happens......

I suppose they'd actually have to publish a payrate before we could figure that part out eh?

I hope they actually start. SAN is sweet. SDSU girls are worth it.
Hulas will never release you from felching duty!

Yep, there's a group trying to start an airline out of CLD with either 700's or E170's. They'll both be able to handle the short runway. Ted Vallas is the money and brains behind it, according to the story, and he has a successful history in regional airlines.

Looks like they're going with CPA - Carlsbad Palomar Airline.

3 x daily to OAK
2 x daily to PHX/TUS
1 x daily to SJD

That's exactly what San Diego needs, another flight to Oakland. What an idiot. It will be an epic failure. It just sucks that people have so much money they're willing to burn most of it to pass the time.

Let's assume that he does fill all the seats, which he won't, but if he does, can you actually run a profitable airline with just RJs? Has that been successfully done yet??
