If the NW pilots were distracted by playing paper, rocks and scissors, would they try to ban hands?

Once idiot politicians get involved in subjects of which they have no knowledge, something needs to be done.

BINGO!

If the crackhead politicians do in fact ban cell phones and laptops from the cockpit, you can bet your ass it won't be the TSA taking them. We would have to leave our electronic devices in a storage area outside of the cockpit. We would then reclaim them as we deplaned. There is no way in hell any of us should be expected to be at work for days at a time without a cell phone or laptop. In this day and age they are must have items.

These two goons need to come out of the closet and tell the world they were really sleeping.

Maybe they were stroking it with sex jelly....I say ban the sex jelly (if that is what happened)

Maybe we should ban electronic devices on the floor of the senate, they seem to be enjoying the solitaire <--- and during Obama's state of the union many were tweeting http://www.myfoxdc.com/dpp/news/022509_congress_twitter_obama_speech I think they should be paying a little more attention to the freaking president, so they do run this country into a lap post or on coming train...ooops "brace for impact"

Are they going to take away our EFB's or the hard mounted cell phone too? At least that will cut down the number of in-flight company induced diversions.:D

In fairness, I believe that the language of this legislation specifically refers to "personal laptops" etc......not that this makes it any less stupid.

Maybe Congress can wake up and start doing things that are productive. They should investigate the steroid abuse in MLB.

oh, nevermind.....

Sweeping electronics ban and allowing companies to use CVRs for disciplinary action - yet no movement on fatigue issues.
