Relatively new to this board. I realize that a potential strike is imminent at Flight Options (management deserves it), but what does the rollout of the Phenom 300 look like there? Are they still expected on the property before the end of 09?

If Management wises up and a strike is averted, what would the rollout look like through the end of the year and into 2010 (assuming no strike)? I am sure a strike would impact any rollout schedule - to the detriment of management and the sales department.

The 300 looks like an awesome airplane. Would be a fun airplane to fly (but not for current Flight Options wage, etc). So, when will we start seeing them on the ramp?

One of the weekly updates from the company indicated certification by the end of the year. The first two deliveries were pushed back until March. They, the company, indicated an issue with the interior that contributed to the delay. On the bright side, an award was run for the Phenom. They are suppose to be in school after the holidays. Then hopefully a contract and recalls...

That's too bad about the delay but not surprising. I am sure the Phenom will go senior among Beechjet pilots. Nice new flight decks and great performance. Those Beechjunks, like the one parked next to me yesterday, are looking pretty tired.

You guys don't have the balls to strike.

What? Are you going to double-dog dare us next?

Perhaps you were sleeping when the strike vote tally was taken. 90% YES vote to strike. We've reached the point where there's nothing left to lose. It's all up to management now.

"Relatively new to this board."

Christ, save yourself now and get out. Nothing to see here but keyboard Rambos and instigators.

Whatever you do, don't go to the "majors" board. You'll never want to airline again.

yep, looks like the Phenom will be pushed permanently! FLOPS management is completely clueless, owners and card holders will be leaving in a mass exodus in a few weeks. I wonder when AIN will get the story that FLOPS management has continued their stalling tactics to the point of an impasse. The doors will soon be locked at FLOPS.
The only bright side is at least unemployment benifits have been extended

As soon as someone sends the story to AIN. AIN always prints they are looking for info for a story. Send the facts and they'll print the story.

An unnamed source close to the story told an AIN reporter that FLOPS management..............

When the press release comes out it will be more interesting to see what the Wall Street Journal writes.

I can only imagine all of the phone calls coming into Flight Options from customers worried about their Thanksgiving travel plans.
