Hey MCDU, didn't you go to GIA? Doesn't that make you part of the problem (among other things).

I am the problem. You see. I know what I am talking about since I am the problem. Actually I washed out at GIA and I am now a F/A. To make ends meet I make Tacos in by spare time and Taco Bell. I also work at Wendys. (But only when I can fit in a shift.)
Get it?

Sad, just sad. Bedford through his actions has shown he is a terrorist to this industry just like many managements before him. Its one thing to use some strategy to hedge against the decline of the small regional jet, its another thing to throw experienced, professional aviators with families under the bus and give them the bird. Is it a correct assumption that once these guys/girls are furloughed the best they can do is a staple during integration with the rest of the Republic pilots that are probably half their age and experience?

Not necessarily. Date of Constructive notice is important.

er... no. Not really, but I did laugh a little.

I thought Allegheny/Mohawk was supposed to cover different union mergers. Illuminate me please.

Honest questions. So what is ALPA's plan now for dealing with Bedford? Do they have any course of action? Are they trying to get integrated somehow? Into which list? Good luck to all involved.

Bye Bye--General Lee

I think Bedfords plan is this: he's coming after YOUR job next with his cheap, slave labor. If they can fly an almost transcon for those crappy wages, you can bet TransAtlantic/Pacific routes are up next.
